| dc.description.abstract | ในโลกที ่ขับเคลื ่อนด้วยเสียง การสื ่อสารด้วยภาษามือของผู ้พิการทางการได้ยินกลับถูก มองข้าม แม้พวกเขาจะมีศักยภาพในการแสดงออก ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และมีระบบการสื ่อสารของ ตนเอง แต่กลับถูกแยกออกจากกระแสการสื ่อสารหลักของสังคมโดยไม่รู ้ตัว ปัจจุบันประเทศไทยมีผู้ พิการทางการได้ยินจดทะเบียนมากกว่า 400,000 คน และมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง สะท้อนถึง ความจำเป็นในการออกแบบพื ้นที ่ที ่เข้าใจและรองรับการสื ่อสารของผู ้ใช้กลุ ่มนี ้ โครงการจึงมุ ่งพัฒนา พื ้นที ่ต้นแบบที ่เปิดโอกาสให้สาธารณชนได้เรียนรู ้ ทำความเข้าใจ และสัมผัส “อีกภาษาหนึ่งของ มนุษย์” ผ่านความเงียบ ประเด็นสำคัญของการออกแบบคือ สถาปัตยกรรมทั ่วไปยังไม่เอื ้อต่อการสื ่อสารทางสายตา และการรับรู ้ผ่านประสาทสัมผัสอื ่นของผู ้พิการทางการได้ยิน โครงการจึงพัฒนาแนวคิดโดยอ้างอิง DeafSpace Design Guidelines ซึ ่งเน้นการจัดการแสง เงา และมิติของพื ้นที ่เพื ่อสนับสนุนการ มองเห็นภาษามืออย่างชัดเจน ควบคู่กับหลักการ Universal Design ที่ส่งเสริมความเท่าเทียมของผู้ใช้ ทุกกลุ ่ม อีกทั ้งยังประยุกต์ใช้แนวคิด Human-Centric Lighting และ Multisensory Perception Theory เพื ่อสร้างบรรยากาศที ่เอื ้อต่อการรับรู ้ผ่านแสงและการสัมผัสอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ โดยมี กรณีศึกษา เช่น Gallaudet University และ Museum of the Senses เป็นแนวทางในการ สังเคราะห์การออกแบบ โครงการ “ศูนย์การเรียนรู ้การสื ่อสารและสัมผัสผ่านความเงียบ” ตั ้งอยู ่ในอำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา ออกแบบให้เป็นพื้นที่เรียนรู้เชิงประสบการณ์ ภายในประกอบด้วยโซนนิทรรศการถาวร พื ้นที ่เรียนรู ้ภาษามือ เวิร์กช็อปสร้างสรรค์ ลานกิจกรรมกลางแจ้ง และพื ้นที ่พักผ่อนที ่เชื ่อมโยงกับ ธรรมชาติ รวมพื ้นที ่ใช้สอยประมาณ 4,166.5 ตารางเมตร กลุ ่มผู ้ใช้งานหลัก ได้แก่ ผู ้พิการทางการได้ ยิน ครอบครัว ประชาชนทั่วไป และนักเรียน–นักศึกษา แนวทางการออกแบบมุ ่งสร้างประสบการณ์ การเรียนรู ้ผ่านแสง การเคลื ่อนไหว และการสัมผัส เพื ่อเชื ่อมโยง “โลกของความเงียบ” สู ่ความเข้าใจ ร่วมกันของสังคมอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม |
| dc.description.abstract | In a world driven by sound, sign language communication among the hearing impaired is often overlooked. Despite their capacity for expression, creativity, and possessing their own rich communication systems, they are unintentionally excluded from mainstream social interaction. Currently, Thailand has more than 400,000 registered individuals with hearing impairments, and this number continues to rise. This reflects the urgent need for spatial design that understands and accommodates their modes of communication. Therefore, this project aims to develop a prototype space that enables the public to learn, understand, and experience “another language of humanity” through silence. The primary design issue lies in the fact that conventional architecture does not adequately support visual communication or sensory perception for the hearing impaired. This project develops its concept based on DeafSpace Design Guidelines, which emphasize the manipulation of light, shadow, and spatial dimensions to enhance the visibility of sign language. These principles are integrated with Universal Design to promote inclusivity for all user groups. Additionally, the project incorporates Human-Centric Lighting and Multisensory Perception Theory to create an environment that allows users to naturally perceive space through light and touch. Case studies such as Gallaudet University and the Museum of the Senses are used as key references in synthesizing the architectural approach. The project, titled “The Learning Center for Communication and Sensory Experience through Silence,” is located in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. It is designed as an experiential learning environment for both hearing-impaired individuals and the general public. The program includes permanent exhibition spaces, sign language learning areas, creative workshops, outdoor activity zones, and relaxation areas integrated with nature, with a total usable area of approximately 4,166.5 square meters. The primary users include individuals with hearing impairments, their families, the general public, and students. The design approach ช focuses on creating learning experiences through light, movement, and touch, aiming to bridge the “world of silence” with shared social understanding in a tangible way. |
